What the area is like
El Nido town is the centre. Restaurants, bars, tour desks and the boat beach are all on foot. It is lively and can be noisy at night, and the town beach is used by boats. Places at Caalan, just to the north, are quieter.
El Nido town suits you if
- It is your first visit and you want it easy
- You want to walk to dinner and the tour boats
- You are keeping costs down
